Day 55

206.0 this morning! Progress! Got up too late to eat breakfast so I just had a mug of eggnog. We had pizza and rootbeer for lunch. Supper consisted of beef soup, crackers, and cherry coke. After supper I had crackers and orange soda.

Day 54

This morning I weighed in a 206.9 pounds. For breakfast, I had cereal and tea. I take my tea with nothing in it--some would call it "black", but there is a type of tea leaves known as black tea, and I do not like them. So I don't like to tell people I drink my tea black. For lunch I had fried rice and orange soda. I had snack crackers and Doritos with orange soda for a snack. For supper, I ate tomato soup with orange soda and later, I had more orange soda and snack crackers. Also, over the course of the day, I drank a bottle of water.

Day 53

So. I'm not recording today because reasons. But I have badly slacked off lately, and I've gained back several pounds. So. I am beginning anew. Sort of. I'm done worrying about slacking off and I'm going to just keep plugging from here. It happens. I've been as real as I could be here but today, well, I just didn't feel like trying to remember everything. So that's the reason. Also I ate a lot of chips. But if I want more than sandwiches in my lunches next week I'd better not eat any more.

207.6 this morning...trying not to let it bother me. The Christmas party comes but once a year. And last year not at all.
For breakfast I had a cookie, snack crackers, and rootbeer. Now you can judge me.
And for lunch I had McDonald's. Shame on me.
For supper, I had carrots, rice, and chicken, with coke. Better but could've done without the coke...

For lunch, I had McDonald's. I'm not proud. My family doesn't keep much for lunch food in the house.
For supper, I had chicken, asparagus, and rice with coke.
For a snack I had lemon cookies and rootbeer.

Half a can of rootbeer and a bowl of cereal for breakfast.
Ham and cheese sandwich, iced coffee, a piece of pie, and snack crackers for lunch...should have skipped the pie...
Had rootbeer at work.
Finished my can of rootbeer and had some cheezits when I got home.
Chicken marsala with coke for dinner.
Eggnog and shortbread cookies for dessert.
Rootbeer after.

Wow, you pig out one day and it takes a lot to get back on track. Sigh. Pigging out is unhealthy anyway.

Took another break. It did not end well. I weigh 206.1 pounds as of this morning. So back to blogging and accountability it is.
I had cookies and rootbeer for breakfast. Oops.
For lunch, I had turkey soup and coke.

Day 43

205.4 lb. this morning. I was pleasantly surprised not to have paid more dearly for last night's splurge.
For breakfast I had a protein bar and iced tea.
For a snack I had iced tea and snack crackers.
For lunch I had leftover Thanksgiving. Well, turkey, a roll, and sweet potatoes.
For snack I had Wheat Thins and stuffing and rootbeer.
For supper I had a turkey...and stuffing...sandwich and too much rootbeer. Really hoping the damage isn't too bad tomorrow...If I drink some water, stay up late, and sleep in late, the scale should balance out.
Yes, I know this isn't the healthiest way but it isn't the most unhealthy, either. I'll find my health balance at some point. I hope. In the meantime, I don't have an eating disorder, and I'm losing weight, so that's some progress toward health.

206.7 this morning! Whoot! Apparently I lose a lot more weight when I get a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast was pancakes with sparkling orange juice.
Lunch was a turkey sandwich with rootbeer and pumpkin eggnog.
Wheat thins, iced tea, half an ice cream bar, a glass of apple juice, and some cocoa marshmallows for snacks.
Half a bowl of chili and a piece of corn bread with coke for supper. The beans were undercooked so I didn't finish them.

Hot tea and three cookies for snack at Bible study. It was social eating and I wanted to try different things...I'll pay for it in the morning I'm certain but I can return to my stricter ways of eating tomorrow, Lord willing.

For breakfast I had my usual. For lunch I had chicken, potatoes, broccoli, and a roll, with coke. For supper, the same, except I had carrots instead of broccoli.

I also consumed a cupcake, a donut, some milk, some iced tea, a few other sips of soda, and three bites of other snacks.

For breakfast I had, basically a breakfast corn dog, and iced tea. The corn dog is actually pancake around turkey sausage on a stick.

At work I drank water.

209.2 pounds this morning! That's 9.1 pounds lost since I began this journey.
 For breakfast I had a mini reese's cup, a bite size kit kat bar, a toasted PB&J, and a mug of iced coffee.
For lunch I had tomato soup, mountain dew, and a grilled cheese sandwich.
I had Taco Bell for supper.
I also consumed a few more mini candies throughout the day.
 And for a nighttime snack because I was hungry I had the last lemon biscotti and some iced tea.

Day 21

210.3 today.

But today is the day the weekend ends. So now I will be trying again.

Breakfast was my usual. Chicken on biscuits and iced coffee.

At work I drank water.

Lunch was a lunchable.

After work, I was starving, so I had a large milkshake.

For supper we had...um...what was it...Oh, chicken, broccoli, and potatoes, with mountain dew.

After dinner, I ate the cupcake my neighbor sent me, and three bite size kitkats. And drank some more iced coffee. I'll pay for it tomorrow, I'm sure. Fail. But Lord willing, my last fail.

Day 20

210.2 this morning. Well. I actually lost weight from yesterday.

Breakfast was iced tea and a peanut butter and jelly toasted sandwich.

Lunch was a meatball sub and homemade potato wedges with soda.

Snack was iced tea and goldfish crackers.

Next snack was just a sliver of chocolate pie.

Dinner was a taco and coke.

Dessert was the last Danish and more iced tea.

Day 19

I knew munching last night would leave a mark, and it did. I weighed in at 210.4 lbs. this morning.

For breakfast I had a bottle of chocolate milk and a cherry danish.

Throughout the rest of the day I consumed 4 more danishes (for shame!), and a Sunkist, a lunchable, some goldfish crackers, and some iced tea, and 2 small fish filets. It's the first day to myself I've had in six weeks so I decided to take a break and just eat whatever I wanted...

Well, no setbacks today. 209.8 pounds. That's a loss of 8.5 pounds in 18 days. Not bad.

For breakfast: two mini chicken biscuits and iced coffee

At work: about one fourth of a bottle of water.

Lunch: Coke and Mexican rice

Snack: three terriyaki chicken nuggets, and two or three bite size chocolate bars.

Walked to my friend's house.

Dinner: grilled cheese and coke.

I drink a lot of coke...probably should stop.

After supper I drank the rest of my Dr. Pepper from yesterday, and I ate a lemon biscotti and a handful of goldfish.

210.9 today. Bit of a relapse. Happens when I eat candy. But I had a small handful of candy corn today anyway. I also had an apple, a small handful of pretzels, a glass of iced tea, a bowl of chicken and dumpling with carrots, two glasses of soda, and some terriyaki chicken nuggets. And about half a 1 liter bottle of Dr. Pepper.
I need to crack down hard again.

Ah yes. 210.4 lbs. this morning. Even lighter. I am happy.
For breakfast I had iced coffee and chicken biscuits again.
I had a coke after breakfast.
For lunch I had a quesadilla and slushy.
I had a bit of a workout teaching swim lessons. Not much but something.
After lessons I had half a homemade donut.
For supper we had burritos with Mexican rice and Coke.
After supper, I had a bottled water, and a single saltine cracker, and a glass of Arizona honey and ginseng green tea.

Day 14

211.0 lb. this morning.
Chicken biscuits and iced coffee for breakfast.
I was feeling dizzy so I got chicken nuggets at work to go with my cereal. I had rootbeer with my lunch as well. I refrained from eating the biscotti I packed to go with my cereal originally, though.
I didn't get much of a workout but I probably sweated out a bit of weight at work. Gross, I know.
For supper we had chicken, broccoli, and mashed potatoes, with rolls and cola.
After supper I was really hungry so I decided to have a banana but only ate half of it because it was overripe. Then I broke down and ate that biscotti with iced tea. But I guess, it's okay to splurge once in awhile.

SEVEN POUNDS GUYS I'VE LOST SEVEN POUNDS IN 13 DAYS. Today the scale read 211.3.

For breakfast I had iced coffee and the last set of my sausage biscuit sandwiches.

I painted my room some. It wasn't much of a workout but it required a bit of stretching.

For lunch, a little bit of eggnog, some goldfish, and tomato soup, and some apple juice.

To celebrate losing five pounds, I went shopping and bought a new skirt.

For supper, I had Taco Bell. After supper I had a cookie and glass of milk.

Day 12

More progress! 213.6! It isn't much but it's something.

For breakfast I had the same as yesterday. At work I had a full workout. Between hauling stuff and climbing shelves like a monkey, and then being on fries...lifting, spinning, running, etc.

And for lunch I had a lunchable.

After work I had a rootbeer and a lemon biscotti. Then an hour or so later I had the last two jumbo marshmallows.

We had soup and biscuits again for supper, but it was beef soup instead of chicken like the last two nights. I had iced coffee and another biscotti after dinner.

It is late and I am so hungry right now...And I've noticed I actually have views on these posts so if someone knows anything about purses, I am looking for one that is as far as I can figure a cross between a hobo bag and a messenger bag.

Day 11

I reached 213.7 again. I never thought I'd be happy to see that number on the scale but I am. I got too fat and now I am reaching for health and it is progress, so I am glad.

For breakfast I had iced coffee and my two sausage biscuits. That box is really lasting a long time...

For lunch, I had a fish sandwich, fries, and a soda. Bad. I know. I forgot to pack my lunch and had to eat at work and was in a hurry before customers came and wanted me to take their order off the clock so I just ordered the first thing I came up with. And just in time too because I had no sooner swiped my card than a customer showed up. I also did some heavy lifting at work.

For supper I had the same as last night and a small handful of Jelly Beans after dinner because my sister shared with me. And also between work and supper I had a bite size chocolate bar and four maple candies...I have a bad feeling about tomorrow's number on the scale but I will pray and hope it is at least the same, if not lower.

For breakfast I had two mini sausage biscuit sandwiches and a few sips of mountain dew.
At work I had some hi-c.
For lunch I had cereal, bacon, and a lemon biscotti with a Capri sun.
At home I had the rest of the candy (at least it's home?) and a jumbo marshmallow.
For supper we had chicken soup and biscuits. I had coca cola with mine.

Day 9

This morning I was 214.3 pounds. I guess that splurge last night left a mark.

For breakfast I had my two mini sausage biscuit sandwiches as usual.
Then I had rootbeer at work and then for lunch I had a lunchable and later more rootbeer. During work I did some heavy lifting. And after work I had a low-fat iced cream cone and some sour patch fruit.

For dinner we had pot roast with vegetables and garlic bread. I did not eat all my meat or vegetables but I had two slices of garlic bread. They were small, and I was craving bread.

After dinner I had a few pieces of candy. I hope they do not leave a mark as the candy and eggnog did last night.

Day 8

I forgot to weigh myself before I ate this morning. But afterwards I weighed 213.7. I think it is safe to say that, quite literally, this sickness is taking the stuffing out of me.
I ate two sausage sandwiches on biscuits. We were all out of cheese so I didn't get any.
And for lunch I had a lunchable with mountain dew.
I had swim lessons to teach today which is a bit of a workout and when my last class didn't show I had a small actual workout for myself.
And I had a jumbo marshmallow, a lemon biscotti, and eggnog for a snack.
Then for dinner we had tacos with rice and corn on the cob.
For a snack after dinner I had a lemon biscotti again, and water and a handful of gummy fruit. And then some eggnog and another handful.

Day 7

It has been exactly one week since I have been cataloging my food consumption and exercise. And I have lost exactly three pounds. I reached 215.3 pounds. When I reach 213.3, I will buy myself a new garment. That is my plan: to renew my wardrobe piece by piece every five pounds I lose. I realize once I reach my goal I will not be able to wear the things I first got, but if I really like them I will take them in. If not I will donate them and at least I will have more clothes that fit me in the meantime.

I am sick today so instead of listing meals I shall just list the things I ate. It is not a flu, nor a cold; it is a few different, random but probably connected, ailments that I am suffering from, so it is not exactly a list that one would expect from a sick person.

Day 6

I was in a hotel again so last night's splurge did not leave a mark I can see. For breakfast I had iced coffee and another sausage and cheese mcgriddle sandwich. For second breakfast (I've been sent away to work out of state and they send us on break really early here) I had pancakes and a hashbrown. I've been dreadfully splurge happy this weekend...

For lunch I had Taco Bell after craving it for many days. It was so delicious. On the road home I had iced tea and a small handful of goldfish. We also stopped and took a short walk on a small trail across a bridge.

For supper I had beef stew and a biscuit, and I ate chocolate covered blueberries later. Also I hauled my heavy luggage up two flights of stairs in one trip.

Day 5

I was in a hotel so I did not have access to a scale. For breakfast I had chocolate covered blueberries, half a sausage and cheese biscuit (a full size one not my usual mini ones) and iced coffee.
For "lunch" I ate sausage and cheese on a pancake bread thing and had *shocker* rootbeer. For a snack I had chocolate pudding.
For dinner I had fish and chips and then after dinner my friend and I had eggnog and nachos and kitkat bars while we watched Brave.
We did visit the pool and I kinda half swam the length of it a few times. Mostly chased rubber balls and hid from my friend who was throwing them back at me...but it was a tiny workout and better than nothing.

Day 4

Finally I had a healthy drink with my sausage and cheese biscuits today. I had green tea. I forgot to weigh myself before I ate but after breakfast I was 216.3 pounds.
I had water at work. I didn't do heavy lifting worth mentioning. I was bad though and ate a fried chicken sandwich, fries, and a shake. I packed food but I was so cold...and I am not often cold. So I got got food at work.
Then I had to ride five hours somewhere and the only fast food place we found was Dunkin Donuts so I had a flatbread sandwich and a donut with a eootbeer.

Day 2

Well, the scale was a little nicer today. It said 216.6 pounds. Thing is, as bad as I said yesterday was, because it looked back written down, it was actually a lot better than my usual habits. So weighing less today doesn't surprise me at all. I know I can't expect results like that every time I do better than usual but it is still encouraging.

For breakfast I ate an apple, and again two of the mini sausage and cheese biscuit sandwiches. I did drink a rootbeer with it but that was only because my iced coffee had gone completely sour and I needed caffeine to wake up for work.

At work I did a little bit of heavy lifting. I had rootbeer again there though. The water makes me sick there so I can't drink it, and rootbeer somehow just makes me feel better. It makes me happy. And at work I always need something to lift my spirits because...well I work in fast food. In the drive thru. Although...this weekend I have been told I get to spend in the kitchen and I am super excited because I actually really love working in the kitchen.

For lunch I ate a lunchable. That was all. And when I got home I had a two bites of cookies that I broke off giant cookies, and I ate a two-bite-sized piece of coffee cake our neighbor sent over. For dinner we had leftover Italian food so I ate that. After dinner I had an iced coffee and that was it.

Day 1

Today I did not do incredibly well. I weighed in at 218.3 pounds. For breakfast I ate two mini sausage and cheese biscuit sandwiches and drank white grape juice. I had no snacks til lunch but for lunch Dad got KFC. And I ate it. I did a little bit of pool exercise while I was teaching my swim lessons this afternoon. But then I ate the toblerone bar my boss gave me with a glass of soda. And for dinner we had stir fry with fried rice; then I had a biscuit and coke for a snack after supper. And then I had a jumbo marshmallow with a rootbeer. Not. A. Good. Day.
